Jason began his climbing journey in his hometown of Atlanta, GA, back in the spring of 2013. Since then, he has made it his mission to make climbing more accessible to all. Jason founded both a nonprofit and climbing club with this goal in mind: Climb Beyond the Barrier and the Unharnessed Pride Climbing Club. He currently serves as the director for both organizations, where he continues to foster safe and welcoming spaces for LGBT+ individuals and other underserved communities. These spaces include events such as The Chattanooga Kiki and The Alabama Potluck. Jason first attended Homoclimbtastic in the summer of 2022 and is now proud to join the Homoclimbtastic team.
