Ben is a new addition to the leadership team, but a long time attendee of Homoclimbtastic. He spends 10 months of each year teaching elementary school, and the other two months traveling to national parks (40 of 62 visited so far)

Ben can usually be found hammocking at the crag, but is good for a belay and the occasional climb.  He can also be counted on for carrying the first aid kit, and an abundance of snacks. 

Ben came to Homoclimbtastic alone, nursing a heartbreak in 2013 and found a warm and welcoming community, and he hasn’t missed a gathering since.
