Jay has lived in Denver, Colorado since 2011. He works at the REI Denver Flagship store; slinging great gear to get more people in the outdoors. Jay grew up in Charlottesville, Va in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
“I got into climbing by trying to hit on the cute guy working at the climbing wall at a Galyan’s Sporting Goods. I went back the next day to climb again, and ended up with a job.” Ended up with a sport and a career.

Jay’s first HomoClimbtastic was in 2010, and he found a home and a climbing family.
